These are just some of those things we have proven to ourselves over the years and on the trail.  We will keep adding to this list as things come up or if we hear of a good one from a fellow wheeler.

Gears are more important than horsepower.

On the rocks, lockers are more important than tires.

In the mud, tires are more important than lockers

When in doubt trust your FSM

It’s good to have a soft right foot

Sliders become pivot points.

The rear overhang will bang and smash in the rocks.  It’s OK you will get used to it.

Spare parts are worth the weight.

When it comes to getting anything done there are 3 factors involved, quickly, correctly and done cheap.  But you only get to pick two.

Buy extra tail light lenses

The first dent is hard to get, after that it gets easy…

Always room for the dog.
