Cruise the Woods 2013
Well… Not exactly the trip we had planned. Cruise the Woods has always been the finale of our wheeling season as the rain usually moves in shortly after this annual event. But this year the rain came a bit sooner than it has for the last 5 times I have made it down to Brown’s Camp… This year we might have called it Cruise the Wet…
McGrew Trail 2013
Once again the McGrew Trailride has come and gone. And I have to say if you weren’t there you missed out on another great long weekend. The small group of Jefferson State Cruisers put on another great run since they have taken over the sponsorship of this annual run.

Not sure I ever drove my rig this way before, sans roof rack. But the need arose when I had to get into the parking garage at the Seattle Airport parking garage….

The more I wheel the more I realize it’s actually the people you wheel with that make or break a run. And I have to say that the Jefferson State guys and gals are some of the greatest people to wheel with.

Once again Cascade Cruisers put on a great event. If you live anywhere near (or far from) Portland, OR and you have never been, you should schedule the time to go. Whether you have a lot of experience or absolutely none, this event will not leave you wanting. This year was no exception.
