Lilly Reboot Part 2
Today continued the go through process, identifying parts and components that will be replacing. Still need to wash it really well. Given the fact that Lilly is still not registered yet due to waiting on duplicate title, can not get to a car wash facility and my apartment complex is against washing of vehicles in your spaces. So until I wash it, I can not start cleaning and buffing the exterior.
What, No Heat?
Life was good rolling down the highway right up until I noticed that there was little heat coming out of the vents and the fan was switched on. But fortunately there is enough heat just leaking out once the rig is warm that I don’t need much more.
A Solar Solution
By Tony K
After almost killing my batteries in the middle of nowhere and having to shut off my fridge in the process made me realize that my batteries will not hold their charge indefinately. Especially when my rig sits without running while the fridge is running constantly.
A Voltmeter or Two
By Tony K
Having a voltmeter in the dash was always a nice feature, much better than the proverbial idiot light that only reveals itself when it is pretty much too late to do anything about it. But the factory gauge in the dash does have some drawbacks. Having to turn the key on for a reading is a bit of a pain and just how accurate is the gauge. And adding a second battery added even more complications. But my biggest concern with the added battery was knowing just what condition each of the batteries were in. All the factory gauge does is tell me the voltage while they are both hooked up in parrellel.
